The first generation products, Phonak’s Serenity DP, Serenity DPC and Primero DPC dynamic hearing protection systems have provided at-risk professionals across around the world with best-in-class noise protection and full ambient (situational) awareness. 

Today with the launch of its new plus-level protection systems, Phonak boosts listening comfort at intermediate noise levels (65 – 85 dB) by implementing a new advanced signal processing algorithm. 

Thanks to the new digital technology inside each plus-level system, distracting background noise is automatically reduced, while allowing important sound signals to still be clearly heard and ensuring face-to-face conversations remain unaffected. 

“Since the original launch of Serenity DP, Serenity DPC and Primero DPC, these systems have been proven to effectively safeguard the hearing of numerous at-risk professionals – from steel and road workers to hunters, security professionals and airport firefighters,” said Evert Dijkstra, Managing Director of Phonak Communications. “With the release of these next-generation plus-level solutions we are now able to offer even greater listening comfort for an unsurpassed user experience.”
